The Kanban Board is a key element of the Kanban methodology, which is based on the principles of visual control, limited work-in-progress (WIP) and continuous improvement.
It helps teams communicate the status of their work transparently and clearly, identify bottlenecks in the process, and optimize the cycle time and efficiency of their work. T-Cards are a type of visual management tool used to track the progress of tasks and thus confirm processes.
Certain regularly recurring tasks are noted on the T-shaped cards. Their completion is confirmed visually - by using different colors or turning them over.
Using the T-cards enables managers and other stakeholders to see immediately the processing progress of individual tasks, identify bottlenecks or delays, and initiate countermeasures as needed.
The magic triangle, also called triple constraint model or iron triangle, represents the three central factors in project management that determine a project and its success.
The three factors are time, budget, and scope.
There is a conflict of objectives between these three factors, which must be balanced.
