Shop floor software: all functions

One board per team, one cascade up to plant management and a closed loop from the KPI to the verified countermeasure.

In short

What does ValueStreamer do?

ValueStreamer is software for digital shop floor management. Every team runs its KPIs, deviations, problem solving and countermeasures on a digital board. The boards are connected through the cascade, from the line to plant management, and all functions work in the same loop.

The frame

Shop floor board and cascade

Every team has its digital shop floor board: KPIs, top issues, countermeasures and the team's lists on one board. Teams, departments and plant management are connected through the cascade: what shows up at the line, the next level sees without having to ask.

  • One team board per team, built from templates
  • Cascade navigator from the line up to the whole plant
  • In the browser: on the large screen at the line, on tablets and laptops

1KPI

KPI management

KPIs come in through the interface from ERP, MES or BI, with target, trend and forecast. When a KPI is off target, ValueStreamer shows which unit below is pulling it down and which deviation is behind it.

  • Target, actual, trend and forecast for every KPI
  • Drill-down to the teams below
  • Linked deviations right on the trend

2Deviation

Deviation management

Teams capture deviations at the board, with category and duration. The Pareto shows by duration or frequency where most losses come from and which deviations still have no countermeasure.

  • Pareto by duration and frequency, per team and level
  • Top deviations and items without a countermeasure at a glance
  • Plan a Go & See right from the deviation

3Root cause

Structured problem solving

For clear cases, a countermeasure following PDCA is enough. Critical or recurring problems run as a digital A3: in seven steps from background and target state through Ishikawa and 5 Whys to standardization.

  • PDCA problem solving right from the deviation
  • Digital A3 with Ishikawa and 5 Whys
  • Archive of all A3 reports, across sites

4Countermeasure

Task management and T-Cards

Countermeasures land on the task board as tasks with an owner, effort and due date, planned in weekly cycles. Recurring checks run as T-Cards, for example the daily torque check.

  • Planning and follow-up in weekly cycles
  • Workload per person in plain sight
  • T-Cards for routines and layered process audits

Beyond the team

Process management

Projects and workflows that go beyond one team run on the multi-project board: phases with WIP limits, gates and status, with the projects' top deviations right next to them.

  • Kanban phases with WIP limits
  • Gates and due dates with status on track, at risk, critical
  • For ramp-ups, product development and continuous improvement projects

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

At a minimum: a digital team board with KPIs, deviation management, structured problem solving, task and countermeasure management, and a cascade that connects teams, areas and plant management. What matters is that everything works in the same loop: from the KPI through the deviation and its root cause to the countermeasure, whose effect shows up in the KPI again.
