🔐 Manage Master and Transaction Data

With the Master and Transaction Data add-on, you as a system administrator can systematically delete certain user information and changes in ValueStreamer. This supports company-wide requirements for data protection, compliance, and co-determination.

✅ How it works

This feature is an optional add-on that can be activated upon request. Once activated, the handling of master and transaction data changes as follows:

  • All user data in process activities, tasks, list entries, deviations, measures, Go&See, and feedback will be anonymized after the period defined by the system administrator (between 3 and 120 months) following archiving.

  • The timestamp in all description fields will now be stored without a username.

  • The permission to export information into a CSV file can be restricted by the system administrator.

⚠️ Warning: The add-on is disabled by default and requires activation by the support team.

🔒 Note: Configuration is only accessible to system administrators with the required rights.
🔒 Note: Existing timestamps remain unchanged; new ones will no longer contain usernames.

System administrators with the required permissions can find the configuration under:
⚙️ System Settings → Security → Master and Transaction Data → ✏️ Edit

Setting Description
🕓 Anonymization period Defines after how many months personal data is anonymized (between 3 and 120 months)
🔐 Export permission Specifies which roles can export data (nobody, only system administrators, system + team administrators)

How does export restriction work?
→ Only the defined roles can perform CSV exports – this prevents unauthorized access to personal data.
