In this article, you will learn how to adjust the general settings of the task board—such as sorting, column headers, labels, categories, or the planning view. This configuration is done per team by team administrators and is essential for a structured, shop floor–oriented way of working.

🛠️ How it works

Accessing the settings:
➡️ In the task board, click the small ▼ arrow next to the “Task Board” tab.
➡️ Select “⚙️ Settings.”

You will find the following configuration areas:

🧾 General

  • 📝 Name of the view (e.g., “Team XY – Weekly Tasks”)

  • 📑 Name column headers individually (e.g., “To Do,” “Today,” “Done”)

  • 🔃 Define default sorting logic:

    • 🔺 Priority

    • ✅ Status

    • ⏰ Due date (end plan)

  • 👥 Arrangement of team members:

    • Alphabetically

    • By Go & See 👓

    • By Feedback ⏰

🗂️ Categories

  • ✅ Activate or deactivate categories

  • 🌐 Make system categories visible as “Global”

  • 🚫 Hide unused categories

🏷️ Labels

  • 🎯 Activate or deactivate specific labels:

    • 📧 “Email”

    • ⚠️ “Attention”

    • 🔒 “Locked”

    • 🆘 “Immediate”

  • 🎨 Label colors and meanings are displayed consistently across the team.

🗓️ Planning View

  • 📅 Enable or disable the planning view display

  • 📏 Define takt length (e.g., 7 days = 1 week)

  • 🕘 Choose takt start day (e.g., Monday)

  • 🔢 Set number of displayed takts (e.g., 4 or 12)

  • 🟩 Mark and name gates/milestones in color (e.g., “Delivery Date,” “Deadline”)

  • 🔐 Settings always apply per team, not system-wide.

  • 👥 Only team administrators can make changes within their own team.

  • 🛠️ System administrators can adjust settings across teams.
