This article explains how system administrators can manage and edit labels for process cards. Process labels visually mark processes with icons and text — for example, “Blocked,” “Business Trip,” “Support Needed.”

✅ How it works
-
Open the system settings via the ⚙️ gear icon at the top right.

Navigate to Processes → Labels.

In the Labels (Processes) table, all available labels for process activities are displayed.

Click a label entry → an editing overlay opens.

Edit the multilingual label name.
-
Click Save to apply changes, or Cancel to exit without saving.

🛑 Locked & deactivated labels
Type | Meaning |
---|---|
🔒 Locked | System-protected. Cannot be disabled or renamed. |
🚫 Deactivated | No longer available in the label selection on a process board for a team administrator. |
✅ Deactivate or reactivate labels via the button in the toolbar above the table.
🧭 Sorting & display
The Labels (Processes) table is sorted as follows:

Status → Active labels first, then deactivated.

Label name → Alphabetical (A–Z).
Deactivated labels appear greyed out.

💡 Best Practice: Choose icons with clear visual meaning, e.g., red exclamation mark = warning, magnifying glass = analysis.
⚠️ Avoid too many icons — they lose their impact.
✨ Regularly review label usage and deactivate unused labels to keep the selection clean.

Can labels be changed afterwards?
→ Yes, unless they are locked — in that case, the edit dialog is read-only.
What happens with deactivated labels?
→ They are no longer selectable but remain on existing processes.
