🛠️ How it works
1. Understanding the view
📸 Screenshot: “Control” tab is active (default view)
-
Each row represents a team member.
-
Under the name, you can see the workload, e.g., 32/40h and 80 %.
-
If the planning view is disabled, all tasks are shown in this view.
-
If the planning view is enabled, only tasks with a Planned End date within the next two takt periods are displayed.
Example:
-
Today is Tuesday, 13 May.
-
Takt length: “Week” (per Planning View settings), starting Monday.
-
Control View shows all tasks due before the end of the second upcoming Sunday (Planned End date until Sunday 25 May).
2. Viewing tasks
Each task card shows:
-
📝 Title
-
⏰ Due date
-
👤 Responsible user
-
⏳ Effort
-
✅ Status
-
🏷️ Labels
-
🔺 Priority
-
🏷️ Form ID of the parent process activity
3. Displaying task cards
-
Click the expand/collapse icons to open or close all cards.
-
You can also expand/collapse individual columns or rows via the arrow in the top right.
-
Default state: Columns Backlog, Next Takt, and Current Takt are expanded; Done is collapsed.

4. Moving tasks
-
Drag and drop tasks to another person to reassign them.
-
Only expanded cards can be moved.
5. Archiving task cards
-
Cards in the Done column remain there indefinitely and are not auto-archived.
-
Clicking Close Takt removes these tasks from the Control View (still available in List View under “Closed”).
-
The Close Takt action is closely linked to KPIs like Hitrate and Disturbance Rate (see related articles).
ℹ️ Notes
-
🔢 Only tasks with planned effort appear in the Control View.
-
📦 Unassigned tasks remain in the backlog.
-
🔐 Only authorized roles can change the permanent sorting logic.
-
📝 Only expanded cards can be moved by drag-and-drop (cards in Done must be expanded first).
