This article explains how to merge multiple thematically related deviations in the deviations list into a single parent deviation. This improves clarity and supports efficient deviation management.

🛠️ How it works

Navigate to your team’s “Deviation Management” tab.

Switch to the deviations list if you are currently in the actions section.

Select at least two deviations by checking the boxes to the left of the entries.

Click the “🔗 Merge” button above the list.
📌 Note on different categories

If the selected deviations belong to different categories, the merge will initially be blocked.

In this case, an information dialog will appear.

Change the categories of the deviations to a uniform value to proceed with the merge.

A dialog will open to create the new parent deviation.

Enter a title and the other required information, then save.
