📌 Overview of Visualization Types

View Use Case Visualization Type

Multi-KPI tab Shopfloor meeting Comparison of several KPIs

📊 KPIs in the Overview (Dashboard)

  • Open the Overview section in the team board.

  • Compact KPI tiles provide a quick snapshot.

  • Typical visualizations: bar charts, line graphs, traffic light logic (red/green), thresholds.

Tip: Perfect for production areas with large-format monitors running 24/7.

📈 Single KPI View in Its Own Tab

  • Create a new tab dedicated to analyzing a single KPI.

  • Benefit: Detailed time trends (daily/weekly/monthly) and direct action linkage.

💡 Note: Ideal for KPIs with high control or steering relevance.

📊 Multiple KPIs in Comparison (Multi-Panel)

  • Create a tab showing several KPIs at once.

  • Visualize them side-by-side for direct comparison.

⚠️ Caution: Use this view selectively for focused comparisons – too many KPIs reduce clarity.

🔄 Cross-Team KPIs & Aggregation Logic

📌 Displaying KPIs from Other Teams
→ KPIs from other teams can be shown on your own team board, giving you direct visibility of key performance metrics from upstream or downstream processes.

📈 Using Aggregation Logic
→ KPI values are automatically aggregated to higher levels, for example:

  • From individual teams to department or company level

  • From production lines to a total production value in the management dashboard

Example: Production volumes from several teams are automatically summed up to a total value at the company level.

💡 Note: Aggregation logic is defined exclusively by system administrators. Teams cannot change these settings themselves.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use status logic to visually highlight critical KPIs.

  • Group KPIs by theme (quality, cost, safety, delivery dates).

  • Fewer, more meaningful KPIs are more effective for steering than data overload.

FAQ
