This article explains how, as a Team Administrator, you can customize your team’s task board. You can adjust columns, sorting logic, categories, labels, and planning view—tailored to your team’s way of working.

Open the Task Board

Navigate to the desired team and select the Task Board tab at the top.

Open settings

Click the small ▼ arrow to the right of the tab name and select Settings from the dropdown menu.

⚙️ What can be configured?
🔧 General
Field | Meaning |
---|---|
View name | Rename the tab |
Order of team members | Sort order of rows/team members (alphabetically by first name or custom) |
Column headers | Titles for the “Current Takt” and “Next Takt” columns (e.g., “Current Week” and “Next Week” OR “Today” and “Tomorrow”) |
Default sorting logic | Up to 3 criteria for automatic task sorting |
🗂 Categories
Here you define which categories are displayed on the task board. You can:

Show or hide categories

Rename team-specific categories (not possible for globally defined categories)

Identify locked categories (cannot be changed)

🏷 Labels
Labels provide visual tagging and quick filtering.

Simply check or uncheck to activate/deactivate labels.

Label names cannot be changed at the team level—only in System Administration globally for all teams.
Examples:
Attention, Blocked, Need Support, Waiting for Decision, Delete

📅 Planning View
This view enables takt-based task planning.
Setting | Function |

Show planning view | Enable or hide takt planning |
Show gates & milestones | Enable or hide display |
Takt length | Week or day (with/without weekends) |
Takt start | Define start day of the takt (e.g., Monday) |
Number of takts | Default number of takts shown (e.g., 10 weeks) |
Gates & milestones | Set planning points or import from process activity |
Color selection for gates & milestones | Choose color coding |

🔐 Only for Team Administrators: Editing is only possible with the appropriate role.

Can I create multiple task boards per team?
→ No, there is only one central task board per team.
Who can activate categories and labels?
→ Only Team Administrators.
Are changes immediately visible to everyone?
→ Yes, once saved, all team members see the new settings.
