🧩 Create, Clone, and Delete Team Board Templates
System administrators can use team board templates to define, clone, and manage standardized structures for shop floor boards. This article describes how to activate the add-on, create, clone, and delete templates, and create teams based on them.

🔓 Activate the Team Board Templates add-on

Go to Administration → Templates → Team Boards

Check the notification banner
If the add-on is disabled, you will see a yellow banner:
“The add-on feature for creating custom team board templates is currently disabled.”

Click Contact Sales

Once activated, the + Create New Template button will be available.

Click + Create New Template

Configure structure, views, tags, KPIs, and lists

Save the template for future reuse
👥 Create a team based on a template

Go to ⚙️ Settings → Team Management

Click Add Team

(Optional) Select a parent team

Choose a suitable team board template

Enter the team name and abbreviation

(Optional) Add team members
-
Click Create Team

Go to Templates → Team Boards

Locate the desired template

Open the ⋯ context menu (top right on the template)

Enter a new template name in the dialog

(Optional) Adjust anything in the 4 steps that should differ in the clone (e.g., tags, KPIs, views)

Click Create to save the template

Open the ⋯ context menu on the template

Click Delete

Existing teams created from the template remain unchanged when the template is modified or deleted
