💬 Communication in the System – Directly on the Content
ValueStreamer takes a deliberately different approach to communication:
Instead of classic email notifications, communication happens directly in the work context – within tasks, measures, and lists.
In elements like deviations, measures, tasks, or lists, you can directly:
-
Write comments (description field)
-
Add timestamps
-
Document progress
-
Assign responsibilities
-
Define priorities
-
Record escalations
📌 Example:
“03/23 – Follow-up with purchasing, clarification planned next week.”

✨ Tip: Use consistent wording within the team
👁️ Ensuring Visibility & Traceability
Communication is visible to all team members – without separate messages.
✅ Advantages:
-
No parallel email chains
-
Direct reference in shopfloor meetings
-
All participants stay informed
ℹ️ Info: Information sharing happens automatically through daily work with shopfloor meetings, lists, and cards.
🚫 No Emails – On Purpose
By default, ValueStreamer does not send system emails for:
-
New tasks
-
Comments
-
Status changes
⚠️ Warning: This is intentional to avoid email overload and promote context-based communication.
📧 Only exception:
A password reset triggers an email for technical reasons.
🔄 Integration with External Tools
If desired, notifications can be automated externally – e.g., via:
-
Microsoft Power Automate
-
Connected integration systems
➡️ Example:
“If KPI X is below target for three days → send email to the responsible person.”
🛠️ These notifications run outside of ValueStreamer and require integration via third-party providers.
ℹ️ Info: If you want to set up external automation, contact our support – we can assist with the integration.
