⚙️ Administration of Deviation Management – General Settings

With the general settings in the “Deviation Management” tab, you can customize your team’s view. This allows you to display additional teams, set a default view (e.g., actions list), and define your own sorting logic for deviations and actions. This creates more clarity and supports efficient daily operations.

🛠️ How it works
With the general settings in the “Deviation Management” tab, you control how content in the “Deviations” and “Actions” tabs is displayed.

📌 1. Open navigation

  • In the team board, go to the “Deviation Management” tab.

  • Click the small arrow to the right of the tab name.

  • Select “Settings.”

📌 2. Configure general view
You can adjust the following parameters:

  • Name of the view

    • Freely selectable, e.g., “My Deviation Management.”

  • Default view

    • Choose whether the deviations list or the actions list is displayed first when opening.

  • Display additional teams

    • Search for specific teams and add their content to your view.

📌 3. Define sorting logic

  • For the actions list:

    • Rank 1: e.g., Priority

    • Rank 2: e.g., Due date

    • Rank 3: e.g., Status

    • Rank 1: e.g., Created on

    • Rank 2: Duration

📌 🔄 Save changes

  • Click “Save and Close” in the top right to apply the configuration.


ℹ️ Info

  • Global settings require intervention by system administration.

  • The settings always apply team-wide – individual views are not possible.

  • 💡 Choose sorting by relevance, e.g., due date first, to keep track of deadlines.

  • 👥 Use the display of additional teams strategically to keep the view clear.

  • 📌 Assign clear and descriptive names to team views for easy identification.
