What does template linking mean?
With a template, you can automatically add standardized sub-processes, tasks, and checklists to a process card. This ensures a consistent project structure and eliminates the need for manual creation.

📌 Requirements for use

  • Only team administrators and system administrators can create and manage templates.

  • The template must already exist in the “Templates” tab of the process board.

📝 Step-by-step: Linking a template to a card

  • Go to the desired process board.

  • Create a new card or open an existing one.

🔁 Behavior during phase transitions
When moving the card, a pop-up appears allowing you to select template content for the new phase.

  • Only content for the current phase will be suggested.

ℹ️ Info

  • Templates can be edited later. Already linked process cards remain unchanged; changes apply only to new links.

  • Use the Form ID to ensure clear traceability between process cards and tasks.

Tips & Best Practices

  • 💡 Choose clear, descriptive template names for easier selection.

  • ✅ Assign responsible persons directly in the template to simplify later assignment.

  • 🔄 Test templates in a separate test board before using them in production.
