This article explains how to filter and sort entries in existing lists in ValueStreamer. These functions help you find information faster and maintain a clear view.

🔹 Quick sorting in open lists (temporary)

  • Open the desired list.

  • In the top right, click the sort icon !

  • In the dropdown menu, select the column(s) you want to sort by (e.g., “Team,” “Date”).

  • The list will be instantly resorted.

ℹ️ Note:
This sorting is only temporary. After reloading the page, the default sorting configured by administrators will be applied again.


🔹 Quick filtering in open lists (temporary)

  • Open the desired list.

  • In the top right, click the filter icon !

  • Activate the desired filter options (e.g., “Top Topic,” “Go & See,” “Feedback”).

  • The list will be displayed according to the selected filters.

ℹ️ Note:
Filter settings are also only temporary. After reloading the page, they will be reset.

  • Permanent sorting configuration is reserved for administrators only.

Tips & Best Practices

  • ✅ Use quick filters to display relevant entries during meetings or reviews.

  • ✅ Regularly sort by important fields such as “Date” or “Priority” to maintain an overview.

  • ⚠️ Keep in mind: Quick filters and quick sorting are temporary. For permanent settings, an administrator must configure a default sorting order.

Can I use multiple filters at the same time?
→ Yes, you can combine as many filters as you like.

Does my sorting remain permanent?
→ No, quick sorting is temporary. After reloading the page, the default sorting will be applied again.

How can I set a permanent sorting order?
→ Only administrators can configure a default sorting for lists in the system administration.
