📌 Creating Top Topics, Go & See & Feedback on KPIs

This article explains how to create Top Topics, Go & See items, and Feedback directly on a KPI in ValueStreamer. These features allow you to capture important observations, topics, or comments in the context of a KPI and make them visible to others — directly on the KPI tile or in the KPI detail view.

Prerequisites

  • 👥 You are a member of the respective team.

  • 📊 The relevant KPI already exists in the team.

  • 📍 You are in the KPI detail view or in the KPI overview area.


🛠️ Create a Top Topic, Go & See, or Feedback

1️⃣ Navigate to the KPI
Go to the KPI detail view or use the Overview of Several KPIs layout.

2️⃣ Open the plus symbol
Click the ➕ plus icon in the Deviation Management area in the top-right corner.

3️⃣ Select the element type
Choose the appropriate link type:

  • 🔺 Add Top Topic

  • ⚙️ Add Deviation

  • 👀 Add Go & See

  • 🕗 Add Feedback

4️⃣ Enter the entry details
Example: Select Add Go & See.

  • Fill in the required fields (e.g., title, description, responsible person).

  • Click Save.


🖥️ How it’s displayed in the system

  • Added elements appear in the right-hand sidebar under Deviation Management, directly next to the KPI.

  • They are listed in the same way as deviations and actions.

  • On the KPI tile, an icon indicates that a link exists (e.g., 👀 for Go & See).

Tips & Best Practices

  • 🔺 Use Top Topics strategically: Link high-level or strategically important topics directly to the KPI.

  • 📣 Use Feedback for quick notes: Ideal for simple remarks or comments from team members that don’t require a full action workflow.

Can I create multiple links at the same time?
→ Yes, each KPI can have any number of Top Topics, Go & See entries, and Feedback items.

Who can see the links?
→ All users with read access to the team or the respective KPI.
